Custom harvesting offers the chance to see different parts of the
country as well as obviously different farming techniques. For those
with a farm background, and even for those not raised on the farm,
custom harvesting offers unique insight into the modern farm.
This is not to say that this job is just a sight-seeing trip.
Custom harvesting is hard work and involves long hours when the
weather cooperates. When it doesn't there are many days spent
repairing or servicing equipment, waiting for rains to go away or
for the crops to dry. Moving machinery also is something
that requires being done on a regular basis.
Bray-Dan harvesting offers competitive wages and benefits plus

as well as other staff and employers. We offer a safe working
environment on modern machinery and trucks.
As a salaried employee, workers compensation and unemployment
insurance are provided and incentives are used to keep up with
harvest scheduling and the maintenance of equipment.
Full meals are provided on-site from our own cook trailer and lodging
is provided with our trailers and bunks.
We in turn require CDL or a class one license as well as mandatory
drug testing. Having a farm background and being comfortable
around large equipment are two definate assets to employment.
Having the pride of looking after "your" equipment in a responsible
manner, repairing and servicing are also assets to your employment.
